The Brewers took down the Cubs in a big game 1 of the NLDS on Saturday afternoon, as the Crew’s offense broke out for nine runs in the first two innings to win 9-3. I was at that game, and I’ll just say that it was one of the loudest environments I’ve been in at American Family Field (honestly, it was probably only second to Game 3 of last year’s NL Wild Card Series, which I don’t want to talk about).
In a post-game press conference, the Brewers’ second baseman said “It was loud. I heard the Brewers fans. I didn’t hear anything else. It was a good time.”
