Through two games, the Detroit Tigers and Seattle Mariners have delivered. In Game 1, the Tigers pulled off a dramatic extra-innings victory. In Game 2, it was Seattle’s turn to pull out the late heroics.

Game 3 will hopefully provide fans with more of the same. The Mariners will send ace Logan Gilbert to the mound to oppose Jack Flaherty. If the first two games of the series were any indication, Game 3 should be a tight one.
In the other series, the New York Yankees are desperately trying to keep their playoff hopes alive. The team dropped the first two games of the series in embarrassing fashion, allowing the Toronto Blue Jays to score double-digit runs in both contests.
Having Carlos Rodón take the mound should help. The lefty turned in an excellent season in 2025. But no pitcher has fooled the Blue Jays in the series thus far. With a win, Toronto would eliminate its division rivals from the playoffs and move on to the ALCS.
