The season is barely part the quarter post and we posed to you a question the other day. Which part of the team’s season were you most impressed with?

I think we all knew that the team’s starting rotation was going to be a strength. How could it not be? They have maybe the best pitcher in the game right now heading it up, a second starter that might get Cy Young votes, a third starter that has seemingly found his potential now that he has a real team, a fourth starter that has been up and down and a fifth starter that has been surprisingly effective. They even got a good Ranger back!
But a lot of you have also been impressed with Kyle Schwarber turning into one of the elite hitters in the game. Now that he has closed off his blind spot against same sided pitcher, Schwarber has taken off and now looks ready to cash in during free agency. Yeah, he probably still has to be a DH only, a few starts in the field allowed per month, but teams ain’t lookin’ for him to flash the leather. They’re going to be looking for him to homer.
