CLEVELAND, Ohio — If Guardians fans were hoping for an aggressive offseason approach to address the team’s glaring offensive issues, Tuesday’s front office comments likely left them disappointed.
During the team’s end-of-season media session, president of baseball operations Chris Antonetti gave what has become his familiar stance on offseason spending and acquisitions: “I don’t have any reason to think that we’ll operate any differently than we have in the past” was Antonetti’s response when asked about looking outside the organization to make improvements to the roster.
