Thomas hit three doubles of his own on the night and drove in three in the dominating victory.

Chicago will try to ride this momentum and starts Davis Martin in the finale. The righty is 1-3 on the season, but has a 3.95 ERA. He pitched great in his last start against the Minnesota Twins, going five innings while only giving up three hits and no runs, but he was still saddled with the loss. The A’s will counter with Osvaldo Bido, who is 2-2 with a 4.85 ERA. He is trying to bounce back from a tough outing in his last start against the Texas Rangers where he gave up eight runs and four homers in 5.1 innings.
