The Brewers are back in Milwaukee to start a series against the Houston Astros.
Tobias Myers is on the mound for his third start of the season. He’s only pitched six innings in his last two starts combined, and he gave up two runs in each outing. He’s struggled with walks, handing out seven free passes in that time, but his pitch count is nearly back to normal as the Brewers look for some length against a solid lineup.
The Astros’ lineup might look more vulnerable for this series with slugger Yordan Alvarez on the injured list. They’ll send out Ronel Blanco to be their starting pitcher tonight. He carries a 5.08 ERA into the contest.
Jackson Chourio takes leadoff duties for Milwaukee’s batting order. Isaac Collins and William Contreras slot in behind him. Christian Yelich is at designated hitter, followed by Rhys Hoskins and Jake Bauers. At the bottom of the lineup, Caleb Durbin, Vinny Capra, and Joey Ortiz finish things off. The full lineups are posted below.
First pitch is at 6:40 p.m. on FanDuel Sports Network Wisconsin and the Brewers Radio Network.
