Now, they’re coming back for round two.The Bananas will bring their unique brand of baseball to KC once again on May 30 and May 31, 2026, when they’ll face a new team in the league with historic roots: the Indianapolis Clowns.The Clowns were a former team in the Negro Leagues and the last surviving franchise from the league’s era.Both games will be played at Kauffman Stadium. Negro Leagues Baseball Museum President Bob Kendrick helped announce the new team during the show.“The rebirth of the Indianapolis Clowns is an exciting and historically relevant tribute to the team that was at the forefront of combining baseball and entertainment,” said Bob Kendrick, President of the Negro Leagues. “Our partnership is a tremendous opportunity to not only entertain, but educate fans about the rich history of the Negro Leagues while paying homage to the team that helped influence Banana Ball.”Fans who want to attend must join the Ticket Lottery List, which closes Oct. 31. The lottery list is the only way to get tickets. The Savannah Bananas are known for their rambunctious twists on baseball, complete with dance breaks, silly antics, and plenty of fun.Fans First Entertainment, the team’s ownership group, also operates other independent professional teams, including the Party Animals, the Firefighters, and the Texas Tailgaters.The Clowns join the Loco Beach Coconuts as the two newest additions to the Banana Ball lineup.
