The Cleveland Guardians have done it.

After winning 16 games in a 18-game span in September, the Guardians have moved into a first-place tie with the Detroit Tigers after beating the Tigers 5-2 on Tuesday.

Both the Guardians and Tigers are 85-72 with five games left to play. The Guardians were 15.5 games behind the Tigers in July but have stormed back to take over the top of the division for the first time since April 22.

Tonight is the second game of a three-game set against the Tigers. The Guardians have clinched the season series against their AL Central foe, now owning the head-to-head tiebreaker against the Tigers should they finish with the same records when the season comes to an end on Sunday.

With rain in the forecast in Cleveland this evening, there are fears the game could be delayed or potentially postponed. Here’s what we know about whether tonight’s game will be affected by weather.
