WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – Monmouth University Baseball Head Coach Dean Ehehalt announced the addition of Trey Stover and Eric Reardon to his coaching staff.
 
“I’m very excited to welcome Trey and Eric to our program,” said Ehehalt. “We’re thrilled to have them on board and can’t wait to see the immediate impact they’ll make.”
 
Stover will serve as an Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for the Hawks while Reardon will be the Hawks’ Pitching Coach and Director of Player Development. 
 
“Trey and Eric are hard workers with a proven track record of developing and recruiting quality student-athletes. Our players will thrive under their knowledge of the game, energy, leadership and guidance,” added Ehehalt.
 
Stover comes to Monmouth after spending the last three seasons as the Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Quinnipiac University. In that role, he worked with the infielders, baserunners and coached first while assisting with the hitters. Stover was instrumental with the camps at Quinnipiac.  
 
Prior to his time at Quinnipiac, Stover spent a year as the Director of Baseball Operations at Coastal Carolina. There he led the day-to-day operations, including supervising team managers, working in the bullpen, submitting travel itineraries and more.
 
He has also served as an Assistant Coach at Hartford, Marist and Quinnipiac. There he was involved in all aspects of the program. While at Hartford in the recruiting coordinator role, BaseballAmerica named Hartford one of their Top 10 Non-Power Five Recruiting Class in 2020.
 
Stover has worked with multiple teams that have ranked in the top 30 of the nation in many offensive categories, including home runs, stolen bases and batting average.
 
Stover earned his degree in Communications with a focus in Public Relations and Advertising from Hartford in 2015. After being a four-year starter at Hartford, he was drafted by the Kansas City Royals. Stover played professionally for Mainz Athletics, Ainslie Bears and the Canberra Cavalry.
 
Reardon joins the Hawks from Wagner College, where he spent the last two seasons as an Assistant Coach and Pitching Coach. In that role, he helped with all aspects of the program. He oversaw the pitching staff, facilitated data and technology advancements and programming, led recruiting efforts and assisted with fundraising and community service.
 
Prior to his time at Wagner, Reardon served as the Graduate Assistant and Pitching Coach at Rutgers Newark. In addition to working with the pitchers he helped curate scouting reports, and engaged in recruiting efforts, among other duties.
 
He has also worked as a travel baseball coach and private instructor for Baseball Warehouse.
 
Reardon was a five-year letterwinner at Rutgers University. He was a two-year captain, who left Rutgers ranked sixth in all-time pitching appearances. Reardon earned his degree from Rutgers in Leadership and Management. He got his Masters degree in Economics.
