View from my living room:
A great day of golf with lifelong friends and 1976 LCMR classmates Harry Tillotson and Frank “Tater” Smith was the highlight of my day. I spent most of the evening watching the Phillies, then turned over to the Eagles just in time to watch a disastrous effort against the Giants.

Eagles’ best play
Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts hit Goedert for a 36-yard gain.
Phillies’ best play

Eagles’ worst play
One play encapsulated the Giants’ performance. Skattebo ran over Eagles linebacker Zack Baun, the team’s leading tackler this season, in the third quarter.
Phillies’ worst play
Bases loaded for the Dodgers with two outs in the bottom of the 11th. Phillies reliever Orion Kerkering bobbled Andy Pages’ grounder, then threw wide of catcher J.T. Realmuto, allowing pinch-runner Hye Seong Kim to score the winning run.
Turning point (Eagles)
The Eagles were in position to get back in the game when they reached the Giants’ 15-yard line in the fourth quarter. The comeback ended when Giants cornerback Cor’Dale Flott intercepted Hurts and returned it 68 yards to give up a Giants’ TD.
Turning point (Phillies)
The Dodgers tied the game 1-1 in the bottom of the seventh when Phils reliever Jhoan Duran walked Mookie Betts with the bases loaded.
