LOS ANGELES — The Dodgers on Thursday defeated the Phillies to capture the National League Division Series, and are back in the National League Championship for the seventh time in the last 10 years. We know the Dodgers’ next game will be played on Monday, October 13, but we don’t yet know who they will play or where Game 1 of the NLCS will be played.
In the other NLDS, the Brewers and Cubs are tied at two games apiece, with Game 5 scheduled for Saturday night at American Family Field in Milwaukee. If the Brewers win the NLDS, the Dodgers will begin the NLCS in Milwaukee, but if the Cubs win the NLDS the Dodgers would have home-field advantage in the NLCS.

The Brewers finished with 97 wins, the best record in baseball, and beat the Dodgers in all six games they played, all during a two week span in which Milwaukee outscored Los Angeles 31-16.
The Dodgers and Cubs began the 2025 MLB season with two games in Tokyo, and now one of their seasons will end in the NLCS. The Dodgers won those two games in Japan and added another win at Dodger Stadium, but the Cubs won their final four matchups to take the regular season series 4-3. These two teams haven’t played each other since April 23.
