SEATTLE — Washington State Ferries (WSF) announced they were able to fill several open crewing positions and no longer anticipate service disruptions across all routes Friday evening.

On Friday afternoon WSF cited a shortage of crew as the cause, but later said they were able to fill several open crewing positions.

Travelers, particularly those attending the Mariners game, are still advised to plan accordingly due to the expected heavy traffic after the game.

WSF suggests using public transportation or opting to walk onto the ferry when possible.

Customers are encouraged to check route schedules for available sailings and use the Real-Time Map for updated departure and arrival times.

Mariners Game 5 against the Detroit Tigers in the ALDS starts at 5:08 p.m. at T-Mobile Park. Friday’s game will determine if the Mariners advance to the ALCS.

If you’re driving to the game, officials also recommend going early and expect congestion. Fans should also be prepared to pay a high price for parking around the stadium.
