The Milwaukee Brewers are going to the National League Championship Series.

The Brewers defeated the Chicago Cubs in a thrilling winner-take-all Game 5 of the NL Division Series on Oct. 11 to win their first playoff series since 2018 and have advanced to the NLCS for the first time since that season.

They’ll play the reigning World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS. It will be a rematch of the 2018 NLCS that the Dodgers won in seven games.

Games 1 and 2 of the 2025 NLCS are at American Family Field, starting Monday night.

Brewers NLCS appearances

It’s the Brewers third appearance in the NLCS. The other appearances came in 2018 and 2011.

The Brewers were the top-seeded team both of those seasons but lost those series, in 2018 to the Dodgers and 2011 to the St. Louis Cardinals.
