MILWAUKEE — Brewers fans across the state of Wisconsin woke up with big smiles on their faces after securing their spot in the NLCS for the first time since 2018.

Many hopped out of bed and made their way to American Family Field to pick up some newly dropped 2025 NLDS Champions merch.

The Brewers Team Store opened its doors at 11 a.m. on Sunday, with gear selling out in minutes after Saturday night’s Game 5 victory.

Fans started to line up outside the team store entrance 45 minutes before opening.

Lucas Kaiser was first in line. He was still riding the high from Saturday night’s win.

“I got friends and family that are Cubs fans, and all year long, I hear it from them when they beat us,” said Kaiser. “And waking up this morning, texting them and then calling them, just bragging, feels great.”

And to rub it in further, fans rushed to get their hands on championship apparel.

Jonathan Devries collects Brewers playoff pins. He has one from 2018, the last time the Brewers were crowned NLDS champions, and went to the team store Sunday to buy a 2025 pin.

Devries is a seven-time season ticket holder and is going to Game 1 of the NLCS.

“They just have to come out in the first inning and get some hits,” said Devries. “The first inning is what seems to determine it for us, for all the playoff games so far.”

Sarah Fonaas was eyeing a Brewers jean jacket at the team store as her victory purchase.

She’s a lifelong fan who will be watching Monday’s game with her parents.

“We really have to just prove them wrong,” said Sarah. “Everybody loves an underdog, right?”

Her dad, Chuck, has been rooting for the Brewers since the franchise came to Milwaukee in 1970.

“I mean, we’re always making it to the postseason, but we never really go very far,” said Chuck. “And we kind of got past that, so hopefully, now that they’re over the hump, maybe they can relax a little bit.”
