The Milwaukee Brewers will be going head-to-head against the reigning World Series Champion Los Angeles Dodgers in the hunt for the 2025 National League Pennant. For L.A., it is the status quo. This is their eighth NLCS appearance since 2013. For Milwaukee, it is a chance to seek vengeance. Their last NLCS appearance came in 2018, losing in a heartbreaker to the Dodgers in seven games.

The 2025 postseason has been business as usual for the Dodgers, cruising past the Reds in the Wild-Card Game and only dropping one game to the Phillies in the NLDS. Simply put, the high-end talent of L.A. is getting the job done, and they have rightfully earned their place in the championship series.
The power of friendship, the Milwaukee Brewers won an MLB-best 97 games in 2025. The dismantling of the Cubs in the NLDS was a statement series that the Brewers are not messing around and have the power to win their first World Series. Outfielder Jackson Chourio was the star of the series, with a home run, six RBIs, a .389 batting average, and a 1.088 OPS.
L.A. is seething for dynasty status. A World Series victory, and they become the first team to win back-to-back since the Yankees’ three-peat in 1998-2000. For Milwaukee, this series means more. Sure, they have home-field advantage, but the Dodgers’ star power far outweighs the Brewers. Milwaukee last made the World Series in 1982 and is desperate to win the franchise’s first title.
Either way, the 2025 NLCS will be an incredible battle between two of Major League Baseball’s best clubs.
