ZT breaks down the top player props to consider for NLDS Game 5 between the Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Cubs.

After Friday’s thrilling Game 5 in Seattle, Major League Baseball has an encore on tap for Saturday night with another winner-take-all Game 5. Saturday’s matchup is from the NLDS between the Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers at American Family Field in Milwaukee.

The home team has won every game in the series so far, which sets up well for the Brew Crew. While neither team has announced a starting pitcher, both teams are expected to go with an “all hands on deck” approach, using a wide variety of relievers to try and piece together 27 outs.

DraftKings Sportsbook has all your betting needs covered for Game 5, which gets going at 8:08 p.m. ET. There are literally hundreds of prop bets available, so let’s zero in on a few of my favorite options for another great matchup in Game 5.

Cubs vs. Brewers Prop Bets for Game 3

Jackson Chourio 2+ hits (+197)

Chourio has been one of the Brewers’ top hitters all season when healthy, and the 21-year-old has carried over that success to the NLDS as well. In this series, he is 7-for-15 (.467) and had multiple hits to achieve this prop in each of the first two games of this series at home. During the regular season, he hit .270 overall with five multi-hit games over the last 17 contests of the regular season. He has had multiple hits in 33% of his last 21 games dating back to that point, and I think he has a good shot to deliver multiple hits again on Saturday.

The Cubs will start lefty Drew Pomeranz as an opener, although that will probably only impact Chourio’s first at-bat. He did hit .343 against southpaws on the season, but overall, he hits both lefties and righties well. His recent form is enough to make this one of my favorite options as a long-shot player prop to play in Game 5.

Michael Busch 2+ Hits + Runs + RBI (+102)

Getting Busch at plus money for at least two HRR (hits, runs, and RBI) feels like a great value in Game 5. He has been hitting leadoff against righties this series, although he did not start in Game 2 when the Brewers started lefty Aaron Ashby. He entered that game in the fourth inning, though, and went 0-for-2.

Dating back to the final game of the Cubs’ series against the Padres, Busch has homered in each of his last four starts. He had four runs scored and four RBI in those four games as a result while totaling six hits. In those four games, he totaled 14 HRR with 3+ HRR in each matchup. The 27-year-old lefty finished the season strong with 45 HRR in his last 16 regular-season games (2.8 HRR per game). He had multiple HRR in nine of those 16 games, and he is a great player prop to target at this price.
