CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – ESPN’s Enrique Rojas reported on Monday that Guardians pitchers Emmanuel Clase and Luis Ortiz will have to find elsewhere to pitch in winter ball- the Dominican Baseball League has said they cannot play there.

Clase and Ortiz have been on indefinite leave, which is not a suspension, as the league investigates whether or not the two were involved in gambling.
The Guardians have said they do not have a timeline on when they will hear the fate of the two, but they are planning on not having them for 2026.
