The Dodgers have the superior lineup, and starter Tyler Glasnow threw 7 2/3 scoreless innings during the NLDS. There just isn’t enough punch heading to the dish for the Brewers, and Milwaukee doesn’t have the pitching depth to hold the Los Angeles lineup in check.

Los Angeles Dodgers righty Tyler Glasnow sports a 3.42 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, and 2.98 xFIP while holding opposing hitters to a minuscule .194 batting average and .264 wOBA across 344 1/3 innings across the past three years.

He also racked up 10 strikeouts across 7 2/3 scoreless innings against the Philadelphia Phillies in the National League Division Series.
Add the Dodgers ranking second in wOBA and pacing the majors in ISO at home during the regular season, and it’s difficult to see how the Milwaukee Brewers can hang around in Game 3, let alone win.
The Milwaukee bats have been limited to five hits and two runs with an ugly .138 wOBA and.298 OPS, and while it’s hard to envision them continuing to struggle, the Brewers did finish the regular season with an 11th-best wOBA and 22nd-ranked ISO against righties.
Milwaukee sends a solid, but unspectacular collection of hitters to the dish, and the Brewers definitely lack superstar talent and power bats. I don’t see the runs stacking up to keep pace with the Dodgers on Thursday night, either.

Milwaukee rookie righty Jacob Misiorowski will likely see a stretch of action in Game 3, and Dodgers hitters Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman could have a platoon advantage for multiple plate appearances.
Ohtani has a monster .444 wOBA and .373 ISO against righties at Dodgers Stadium over the past three regular seasons, while Freeman checks in at .377 and .210. It’s a huge sample of success.
