After back-to-back losses on consecutive days, the Brewers get a day off as the series shifts to Los Angeles, beginning with Game 3 on Oct. 16. Game 4 is Oct. 17 and Game 5, if necessary, is Oct. 18.

The NLCS is a best-of-seven format. The first team to win four games wins the series and advances to the World Series.
The first two games were held in Milwaukee, with the next three taking place in Los Angeles. Game 5 will only be played if it’s not a 4-0 sweep. Games 6 and 7 are back in Milwaukee, if necessary.
When is the World Series?
The start of the World Series is just over a week away, on Friday, Oct. 24.
The Brewers are looking to advance to their second World Series in franchise history and first since 1982. Milwaukee has never won a World Series. The Brewers’ opponent in the NLCS, the Dodgers, have appeared in the World Series 22 times, winning it eight times, including in 2024. They’re two wins from representing the National League in the World Series for the fifth time in the last nine years.
In the American League, it’s coming down to the Toronto Blue Jays and Seattle Mariners. The Blue Jays were last in the World Series in 1993, while the Mariners have never appeared in the World Series.
If the Brewers win the NLCS, they’ll host the American League winner in Games 1 and 2. If it’s a Blue Jays-Dodgers World Series, the Blue Jays will host Games 1 and 2. If it’s a Dodgers-Mariners World Series, the Dodgers will host Games 1 and 2.
