So much for home-field advantage in the National League Championship Series and American League Championship Series, right? Every game in the NLCS and ALCS has been won by the road team entering Thursday, Oct. 16 games.

The Milwaukee Brewers need that to continue they want to have any chance in their series against the Los Angeles Dodgers as the NLCS shifts to L.A.

Milwaukee, the top-seeded team, lost the first two games in the NLCS at home, overmatched by Dodgers starting pitchers.

Can the Brewers, who are winless in their last nine road playoff games, continue the road-victory trend in 2025? Or will the Dodgers continue their pitching dominance and get one step closer to another World Series appearance?

The Toronto Blue Jays, who lost the first two games of their ALCS to the Seattle Mariners earlier this week, showed off their power in a Game 3 road rout when they pounded out 18 hits and slugged five home runs in a 13-4 victory at T-Mobile Park.

Can they do it again on the road or will the Mariners regroup and take a commanding 3-1 series lead?

It’s the first of back-to-back days of both the NLCS and ALCS having games.
