BALTIMORE, MD (WBFF) — The Los Angeles Rams will leave their mark on the Orioles’ 2026 season.

As part of their agreement to use Camden Yards as a practice facility this week, the West Coast-based NFL team will resod the Orioles’ field ahead of next season, according to an Orioles spokesperson. The replacement process will be more extensive than the typical offseason grounds work and the first full resodding of the field since 2023.

Los Angeles made Baltimore its temporary home this week after beating the Ravens, 17-3, on Sunday. The Rams’ next game is scheduled for Sunday in London against the Jacksonville Jaguars and the team opted to stay on the East Coast rather than travel home just to turn around and fly all the way across the country again.

The Rams also agreed to cover facility expenses such as staff and security, pay for insurance and sign waivers to forego claims for loss or injury. The Maryland Stadium Authority approved the deal at its monthly meeting Oct. 7. The Orioles declined to disclose financial details of the deal.
