The FSU baseball team is looking to make another deep run and make the Men’s College World Series and Omaha. They will have a great shot to do so as Link Jarrett has assembled a roster full of future professional players, with numerous Seminoles set to hear their name called at the 2025 MLB draft.

It should be a second great showing for Florida State, they had eight players taken in last year’s draft, including James Tibbs III and Cam Smith in the first round. While they likely won’t have two first-rounders this year, ace Jamie Arnold is among a handful of players competing to be taken first overall.

With the draft approaching, MLB Pipeline has updated its list of top prospects and now lists the top 150. The expansion featured several Seminoles, as five current players and one signee are now on the list. Here is a look at each of them.

Pitcher Jamie Arnold

Ranking: No. 3 overall, No. 1 LHP

2025 Stats: 5-1 record, 2.29 ERA, 55 innings, 73 strikeouts, 19 walks

Arnold is the top college prospect in the draft and very much in the mix to go first overall to the Washington Nationals. He has improved as the season has gone on and has pitched into the seventh inning in back-to-back starts, both of which were against ranked opponents.

Shortstop Alex Lodise

Ranking: No. 53 overall, No. 15 SS

2025 Stats: .430 BA, .484 OBP, 74 hits, 15 doubles, 14 home runs, 46 runs, 53 RBI

Lodise has been one of the best players in the country and is firmly in the running to be named the player of the year if he can keep it up. He leads FSU in nearly every offensive category and has played great defense at short as well.

Outfielder Max Williams

Ranking: No. 73 overall, No. 21 OF

2025 Stats: .331 BA, .407 OBP, 53 hits, 8 doubles, 16 home runs, 36 runs, 40 RBI

Williams leads FSU in homers and has some impressive power from the left side of the plate. He has raised his batting average, on-base percentage, and slugging percentage this season while cutting down on his strikeouts.

Pitcher Cam Leiter

Ranking: No. 80 overall, No. 15 RHP

2025 Stats: NA

Leiter has not pitched at FSU since March 28 last season and is currently rehabbing an injury. He was FSU’s No. 1 starter last season before suffering the injury. He can be an elite pitcher when healthy.

Second baseman Drew Faurot

Ranking: No. 140 overall, No. 8 2B

2025 Stats: .287 BA, .377 OBP, 43 hits, 2 doubles, 9 home runs, 34 runs, 34 RBI

Faurot has improved his batting average, on-base percentage, and slugging percentage this season, and played great defense at second base, making just three errors in 152 chances.

Catcher Ty Harvey

Ranking: No. 136 overall, No. 9 C

2025 Stats: .581 BA, .689 OBP, 43 hits, 12 doubles, 6 home runs, 30 runs, 24 RBI

Harvey is one of FSU’s top 2025 signees and one of the top catchers in the country. They were able to get Hunter Carns to campus last season and it will likely be a battle to do so with Harvey this year.
