SEATTLE, WASH- Could the Mariners be getting some support from the supernatural side?
Depends what you believe…and to some degree the Mariners organization has even leaned into it.
One Mariners fan posted that he hired an “Esty Witch,” to give the Mariners that added boost they had been looking for.
“SpellbyLuna,” a “witch,”— based out of Canada was selling spells on Etsy, she sold a spell for $19.99 with a $4 shop discount to @notB0bR055, to help the Mariners “get their act together and start winning baseball games again, and hopefully make their way to the world series and win.”
That according to a tweet from the purchaser.
Said “Witch,” replied that she had completed the spell.
The Mariners posted following a win “shoutout to the Etsy which.”
NonStop Local did reach out to the Spokane Catholic Diocese, we spoke to a priest at the Our Lady of Lourdes Cathedral, who did not support do use of witchcraft— and voiced support for the overall use of prayer for the Mariners and their well being.
Regardless– it’s clear that fans across the State of Washington pulling out all the stops in hopes of a Mariners win– and trip to the World Series!
