The Blue Jays beat the Mariners last night so Shane Bieber will start game 7 for Toronto against Seattle tonight at 8:03PM ET.
There was a very neat moment with Vladimir Guerrero Jr. after the game. He has had a top 5 of all-time-type playoffs so far:
Ernie Clement had a great season for the Jays this year. He was so good defensively he has been nominated for TWO Gold Gloves. Ok, yes, we might have seen that coming. He had a 98 wRC+ with a 146 wRC+ against left-handed pitching. He had a 107 wRC+ in his minor league career, so that is a great outcome but isn’t totally out of the realm of expectation. Ernie Clement has a 211 wRC+ in the 2025 playoffs. Baseball. Good for Ernie.
