Police are looking for a man who is accused of assaulting two people with a baseball bat at a gas station in Westmoreland County. According to a criminal complaint, Reno Roberts was said to have physically assaulted two people in the parking lot of a GetGo gas station along Route 22 in Salem Township on Oct. 16. Roberts allegedly punched both of the victims multiple times before grabbing an aluminium baseball bat from his vehicle and attacking them. One of the victims was hit in the back of the head and their back. The second victim was said to have been hit in the back before running from the scene and getting into a vehicle with their mother. When police arrived on the scene, the complaint continued, the victims said a verbal altercation occurred between Roberts and one of the individuals, who are former partners. The argumant then became physical, leading to Roberts punching both victims and retriving a bat. Both victims were taken to Forbes Hospital for treatment following the incident.One of the victims, who is said to be part of the LGBTQ+ community, later reported that Roberts sent them derogatory and threatening messages online.
