Walker Janek, the Astros first round pick from 2024, if off to a tremendous start. He’s played in 7 games and leads the Arizona Fall League with 18 runs batted in. He’s also connected on 3 doubles and 3 home runs. This included a ridiculous 7 RBI last Friday. Great start for Janek.

Joseph Sullivan had a breakout 2025 season where he finished with 17 home runs, 42 stolen bases and 88 walks in 106 games. The Astros sent him to the AFL and he has started well hitting .400 (8-for-20) with a triple, 5 runs batted in and 4 stolen bases. Really good start for Sullivan too.

Anderson Brito has made two appearances in the AFL after coming back from his season injury. The first one was solid but the second one this week he dominated striking out 8 over 3 scoreless innings. He was up to 98.9 MPH with the fastball and generated 11 whiffs in those 3 innings.

James Hicks has appeared in two games and is pitching well. He has totaled 7 innings and allowed just 3 hits and no runs while picking up 8 strikeouts. Good start to the AFL for him.
