After a nail-biter in Game 3, the Chicago Cubs forced a Game 4 in the National League Division Series, winning 4-3 over the Milwaukee Brewers Wednesday night at Wrigley Field.
The series now remains at 2-1. Teams falling behind 2-0 in a best-of-five postseason series have won just 10 out of 90 times
The series will remain at Wrigley for Game 4, with the Cubs hoping to force a winner-take-all game in Milwaukee later this week.
Here’s what time it starts and what to know
What time do the Cubs play today?
Game 4 at Wrigley Field between the Cubs and Brewers will start at 8:08 p.m. Central time. The game will air on TBS, and will stream on HBO Max.
According to the Cubs website, only standing-room tickets were available for Game 4.
What happens if they win?
If the Cubs win Thursday, they’ll head back to Milwaukee for a winner-take-all Game 5 at American Family Field. That game would be played on Saturday at either 3:38 p.m. or 7:08 p.m., depending on the outcome of the other National League Division Series.
Who is starting for the Cubs?
The Cubs have Matthew Boyd listed as a probable pitcher on their roster for Game 4.
Matthew Boyd started Game 1 for the Cubs on short rest, and he was in line to start Game 4 on his regular four days rest if the Cubs choose to go that route. The Brewers could then do the same thing with Freddy Peralta, who struck out nine batters and allowed two earned runs in 5.2 innings of work in a Game 1 win on Saturday.
