It should come as no surprise that the Los Angeles Dodgers are the odds-on-favorites to win back-to-back Fall Classics.
While the Dodgers won their fewest games (93) in the regular season since 2018, the defending World Series champions have taken it to another level this postseason, winning nine of 10 games with their lone blemish being an 8-2 loss to the Phillies in Game 3 of the National League Division Series.
Since then, Los Angeles has won five straight, not allowing more than a single run in any of those contests during their run toward clinching back-to-back National League pennants.

The Blue Jays are no easy out, as they’ve proven to come up clutch again and again, headlined by George Springer’s go-ahead, game-winning three-run home run in the seventh inning of Game 7 of the American League Championship Series, cementing Toronto’s first American League pennant since the franchise won back-to-back World Series in 1992 and 1993.
Regardless of who ends up on top of the baseball world this season, history will be made.
Either the Dodgers will cement themselves as back-to-back champions, or the Blue Jays will end a three-decade-long title drought and see a Canadian team from one of the four North American professional sports leagues (NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL) win a championship for the first time since another Toronto team — the Raptors — won the NBA Finals in 2019.
So will it be the Dodgers or Blue Jays who win the World Series?
