World Series betting

The Los Angeles Dodgers enter the World Series off a four-game sweep, but the Toronto Blue Jays are no strangers to knocking off a team playing its best baseball. The Mariners closed the season as the hottest team in baseball and took the first two games of the ALCS against the Blue Jays before Toronto rallied to force and win a Game 7. The Blue Jays won back-to-back win-or-go-home games in Toronto, and they are 4-2 at home this postseason. The Dodgers are 4-0 on the road this postseason, and 9-1 in 10 postseason games this year.

The Dodgers are starting Blake Snell, who has been nearly unhittable this postseason. The 32-year-old has allowed two runs in 21 innings for a 0.86 ERA in three postseason starts, including no runs on two hits over 14 innings in his last two starts. The Blue Jays are starting 22-year-old Trey Yesavage, who made his MLB debut on Sept. 15 after spending less than one full season in the minor leagues. The Dodgers are -155 favorites, while the Blue Jays are +130 underdogs in the latest World Series Game 1 odds at Fanatics Sportsbook, and for futures odds, the Dodgers have -235 odds to win their second straight World Series, while the Blue Jays are +190 underdogs at Fanatics. Use the latest Fanatics Sportsbook promo code here:

Friday NBA betting

The first Friday of the NBA season features a 12-game slate, including matchups such as the Celtics vs. Knicks, Timberwolves vs. Lakers and Suns vs. Clippers as options for Friday NBA betting. Boston dropped its first game with Jayson Tatum (Achilles) sidelined in a 117-116 final against the 76ers, while the Knicks defeated the Cavaliers, 119-111, on Wednesday. New York defeated Boston in six games in the postseason last year, with Boston playing the final two games of the series without Tatum.

For NBA betting, the Knicks are favored by 4 points at home in the latest Friday NBA odds at Fanatics Sportsbook, with an over/under set at 230.5 points. The Timberwolves are 2.5-point favorites over the Lakers in another postseason rematch after Minnesota knocked Los Angeles out in five games last year. LeBron James (sciatica) remains out, but Luka Doncic practiced on Thursday after a potential groin issue after Tuesday’s opener. Claim up to $2,000 in FanCash here:

Friday college football betting

Friday features a three-game college football slate, including Nevada hosting Boise State at 10 p.m. ET on CBS Sports Network. Boise State isn’t in top 25 territory with Ashton Jeanty now in the NFL, but the Broncos are 3-0 in the Mountain West and 5-2 overall as the steady program is having another solid season. Meanwhile, Nevada is 1-6 overall and 0-3 in the conference. Boise State is a 21.5-point favorite in the latest Friday college football odds for college football betting at Fanatics Sportsbook.

Also on Friday, Virginia Tech hosts California in an ACC battle at 7:30 p.m. ET. Cal is coming off a 21-18 win over Bill Belichick’s North Carolina Tar Heels last week to improve to 5-2 overall and 2-1 in the ACC. Virginia Tech fell to 2-5 overall and 1-2 in the conference with a 35-20 loss to Georgia Tech on Oct. 11 before a bye. Virginia Tech is favored by 6 points at Fanatics, with an over/under set at 51 points. Claim up to $2,000 in FanCash here:
