Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across MLB. Throughout the year, we ask questions of the most plugged-in Colorado Rockies fans and fans across the country.

We’re all still waiting with baited breath to hear who will become the Rockies next general manager/president of baseball operations (and also what their official title will be). We got more bread crumbs, but there hasn’t been an official hire.

However, we can still speculate on what kind of candidate would be best for the Rockies in their current state. We asked what trait you thought was most important in a GM/PBO, and the majority of fans believe that being an effective player developer is the most important trait a person can bring to the table.

However, narrowly behind that answer was someone who has experience on a winning team. Perhaps the Rockies can find someone who is effective at both, but we won’t know what the candidate brings to the table until they’re hired (hopefully next week).
