ZT breaks down the top player props to consider for Game 2 of the World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays.

The 2025 World Series got off to a great start on Friday, with the Blue Jays getting the 11-4 win after getting to starting pitcher Blake Snell. The Dodgers will look to even the series on Saturday, while the Jays will look to sweep the two games in Toronto before the series shifts to Los Angeles for Game 3. It should continue to be a great World Series stuffed with superstars, and of course, there are plenty of great player prop bets to play on DraftKings Sportsbook.

The Blue Jays will give the ball to Kevin Gausman against Yoshinobu Yamamoto in what should be a great pitching matchup for Game 2. Both starters had success in the Championship Series, and both teams have plenty of playoff-proven bats to consider for player props as well.

As always, DraftKings Sportsbook has all your betting needs covered for the World Series. There are hundreds of prop bets available, but let’s look at a few of my favorite options from Game 2.

Dodgers vs. Blue Jays Prop Bets for Game 2

Yoshinobu Yamamoto under 5.5 strikeouts (+116)

Yamamoto has been outstanding in the postseason and is coming off a complete game in his most recent start in the NLCS against the Brewers. He allowed just one run on three hits with seven strikeouts on the road against the Brew Crew in that outing, and he also had at least six strikeouts in each of his last 12 regular season starts. So why is taking the under the play I like here?

The Blue Jays are elite at strikeout suppression. They had the lowest K% in the majors this season at 17.8%, more than five percentage points lower than league average. In the playoffs, they have continued to put the ball in play, and they only struck out four times in Game 1 despite Blake Snell coming in with even more momentum than Yamamoto.

With so many of the Blue Jays’ hitters hardly ever striking out, it makes sense to attack the under on this prop. Yamamoto could also be a little rusty after not pitching in almost two weeks, and the Dodgers could go to the bullpen early if the Blue Jays get some runs early. Even if he is effective, it will probably be due to weak contact rather than strikeouts in this matchup, so I love getting the under here at plus money.

Addison Barger Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI (+155)

At DraftKings Network, we’ve been collectively hyping Barger all season, with my colleagues Dan Johnson and Garion Thorne joining me in support of the 25-year-old lefty. Barger’s metrics have been off the charts even when his results haven’t always reflected the quality of his contact. In Game 1, though, he had a breakthrough moment with this pinch-hit grand slam that would be the highlight of almost any player’s career.

Barger will likely start with the righty Yamamoto on the mound for Game 2, and I love that getting him for multiple HRR (hits + runs + RBI) comes at such juicy odds.

Barger is 12-for-37 (.324) in the postseason with five runs scored, two doubles, three homers, eight RBI and five walks. He has 25 HRR in his 11 contests for an average of 2.3 HRR per game in the playoffs.
He has multiple HRR in each of his last four games and five of his last six. He could continue his ascension to be a superstar forever in Toronto with another big game in Game 2.

Mookie Betts 2+ Total Bases (+105)

Betts went 1-for-4  with a walk, a single, and a run scored in Game 1. He’s only 4-for-23 (.174) in his last six games and all four hits have been singles, which is why him getting 2+ total bases is at plus money odds on Saturday for Game 2.

However, Betts has 19 total bases in his 11 games this postseason (1.7 per game), and ha averaged 1.9 total bases per game throughout his career in the postseason.

He also has a good history against Kevin Gausman, going 16-for-51 (.314) with a double and three home runs in their past meetings. He typically plays well in Toronto even dating back to his time in Boston, and I think he’ll step up to help his team avoid a potential 0-2 hole this Saturday.
