ARLINGTON, Texas (WCYB) — The Texas Rangers have reportedly recalled Elizabethton native Evan Carter from Triple-A Round Rock just in time for Tuesday’s series against the Boston Red Sox.
Since April 10, Carter has been hitting .288 with three home runs.
Carter missed most of last season due to an injury and began this season in Triple-A following a slow start in spring training.
The outfielder was one of the heroes of the Rangers’ 2023 World Series run.
