Mariners back in town for ALCS Game 3, 4

The Mariners are back home in Seattle, getting ready for Game 3 of the American League Championship Series against the Toronto Blue Jays.

The Seattle Mariners will play the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 5 of the American League Championship Series on Oct. 17 at T-Mobile Park.

The Mariners are now 2-2 in the series after winning against the Blue Jays in Games 1 and 2 at Toronto’s Rogers Centre and suffering back-to-back losses in Games 3 and 4 at T-Mobile Park.

The Mariners advanced to the best-of-seven ALCS against the Blue Jays after winning the ALDS series 3-2 over the Detroit Tigers.

This is the first time the Seattle Mariners have reached the ALCS in nearly 25 years and the first time for the Blue Jays since 2016.

Bryce Miller, who started in Games 1 and 2, is set to start again in Game 5.

He holds the record for the most home runs in a single season for the Mariners, beating Ken Griffey Jr., according to The Seattle Times.

Where is T-Mobile Park in Seattle?

T-Mobile Park is located in Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood.

Home of the Seattle Mariners, it features a retractable roof and was built in 1997, replacing Seattle’s Kingdome.

The stadium was formerly known as Safeco Field.
