tThe Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays split the first two games of the 2025 World Series and face off in a pivotal Game 3 at Dodger Stadium on Monday, Oct. 27.
Toronto won the opener in Canada but Los Angeles bounced back to take Game 2 behind a complete game from ace Yoshinobu Yamamoto. In Game 3, three-time Cy Young winer Max Scherzer will start for the Blue Jays with Tyler Glasnow taking the mound for the Dodgers.
“We know Scherzer from years past. … and we’ve got to have a good game plan and execute and play sound baseball, and then everything will take care of itself,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters a day before Game 3.
