The Big 12 Conference announced Monday that the conference’s baseball championship is headed to Surprise Stadium in Surprise, Arizona starting in 2026.

The 10,714-seater stadium is the spring training home of the Texas Rangers and the Kansas City Royals.

“Surprise Stadium is a premier facility that will create a great atmosphere and experience for our student-athletes and fans,” Big 12 chief competition office Scott Draper said in a news release.

The tournament has been played at Globe Life Field in Arlington since 2022. It’s final edition at the current venue is set to get underway this week before its debut in Surprise on May 20, 2026.
