Huskies Baseball Ready to “Bat” Around on Halloween

(KNSI) – It’s batter up, with the emphasis on bat, this Friday at Joe Faber Field.

The St. Cloud State University Baseball Team is hosting Halloween with the Huskies from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. There will be a Halloween costume contest, trick-or-treating, and free pizza. Kids get to revel in America’s Pastime, too. They’ll have the opportunity to run the bases just like the Huskies and Rox get to do. Team players will be tossing the ball around in the outfield.

Also planned, an autograph session and a special presentation of what the team is calling Husky Banana Ball, tailored after the zany rules used by the Savannah Bananas. The high-energy, fan-centric game has sold out stadiums across the country.
