Boys
Jesse Gomez, Denver XC
Placed first individually at the team’s state qualifying meet by finishing with a time of 16:48.0. Also contributed to the team’s first place finish and state qualification at the meet.
Nathan Moon, Clarksville Football
Finished with 400 total yards and nine total touchdowns in the team’s opening round playoff win against Coon Rapids-Bayard. Complete statline included 284 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns on 39 carries as well as 116 passing yards and three passing touchdowns while completing 3-of-4 passes.
Girls
Avery Trunkhill, Denver XC
Qualified for her fourth state meet by placing third at the team’s state qualifying meet. At that meet, Trunkhill finished with a time of 20:16.2.
Adalynn Kane, Wapsie Valley XC
Helped her team qualify for the state meet by finishing sixth at the state qualifier. Kane finished with a time of 20:34.3 at that state meet to qualify for state individually as well.
