It’s the time of the year when every pitch is magnified. The execution of the fundamentals is critical and even the slightest of mistakes can turn the tide in an instant.

The District 2 baseball playoffs get underway Tuesday. And for as much as coaches are monitoring their pitching staffs the will be monitoring the weather just as much.

A postponement because of inclement weather has the potential to alter even the best of plans. Some games originally scheduled to be played Wednesday have been moved to Tuesday.

Here is a look at how the district playoffs set up. All championship games will be played at neutral sites this year.
