The 2025 World Series is now a best-of-three series as it moves on to Game 5 on Wednesday, Oct. 29, with the Los Angeles Dodgers hosting the Toronto Blue Jays at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles with the series tied at 2-2.

The game is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. EDT and will be broadcast on FOX and FOX Deportes. Fans looking to watch this MLB game for free can do so using DIRECTV, which offers a free trial. The Blue Jays took a lead in the third inning of Game 4 behind a Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 2-run homer off Shohei Ohtani. The Dodgers had scored a run in the second off am Enrique Hernández sac fly, but their bats were silenced for most of the night, as they had just six hits, left seven runners on base and went 0-5 with runners in scoring position.

Ohtani kept things close for most off the night, striking out the side in the fourth and again keeping the bases clear in the sixth. But in the seventh, everything turned for the three-time MVP when he gave up a single to Daulton Varsho and a double to Ernie Clement, which chased him out of the game. Anthony Branda came in in relief of Ohtani, and allowed Varsho and Clement to get home while also allowing 2 runs of his own as the Blue Jays’ lead ballooned to 6-1, with Guerrero scoring that sixth run.

Now comes Game 5, the last game in the United States for the series and the second matchup between Toronto’s Trey Yesavage and Los Angeles’ Blake Snell. Snell got rocked in Game 1, allowing 5 runs on eight hits, while Yesavage only went four innings, but only allowed 2 runs as Seranthony Dominguez picked up the win after 1.1 innings of hitless ball.
