Jones played his entire career with the Braves, debuting in 1993. The eight-time All-Star remains Atlanta’s career leader in many categories, including hits, doubles, home runs, and RBI. He is looking forward to the opportunity to manage those rising stars of the game.

“Any chance you get to be a part of this and especially get an up close and personal look at the next generation coming up and being in charge of allowing them to be able to showcase their talents to the best of their ability in the futures game I couldn’t pass that up,” Jones said.

The game is set for Saturday, July 12.
