Toronto starting pitcher Trey Yesavage made history, becoming the first rookie to ever throw 12 strikeouts in a World Series game. The 22-year-old pitched seven innings, allowing just one run and three hits. Yesavage pitched for the Fisher Cats this past summer.
The Blue Jays now lead the series 3-2 and can clinch the title Friday in Toronto.
The Fisher Cats will host a watch party at the Sam Adams Brewhouse inside Delta Dental Stadium.
