The Milwaukee Brewers began the 2025 season with four straight losses before they authored the best regular season in franchise history.

But is the National League’s No. 1 seed about to finish the season like how it started? With four straight losses.

The Brewers are in an 0-3 hole to the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship Series, after dropping Game 3 on Oct. 16, 3-1, at Dodger Stadium.

One more loss and their season is over.

Game 3 was more of the same for the offensively-challenged Brewers, who scored one run for the third straight game. The Dodgers are now just one win from their second straight National League pennant.

Meanwhile, the Brewers are on the brink of elimination and seeing their World Series drought continuing.

Here’s what to know about the Brewers’ next playoff game against the Dodgers and playoff schedule:

When is the Brewers next game? Game 4 start time

The Brewers and Dodgers will play Game 4 of the NLCS at 7:38 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, at Dodger Stadium.

The Dodgers lead the series, 3-0.

Are the Brewers out of the playoffs?

Not yet. But it’s looking bleak.

Milwaukee is down in the series, 3-0, facing a near insurmountable deficit. The Brewers have had no answer for the Dodgers pitchers in this series with many of their hitters looking lost at the plate. In Game 3, they finally had some scoring opportunities but they failed to deliver clutch hits.

They’ve scored just three total runs across the first three games in the series.

How many games do the Brewers have left?

It could be just one more. They’re one loss away from being eliminated and their season coming to an end. The Brewers need to win the next four games to win the series.

Has any team come back from being down 0-3?

Only one team.

It came 21 years ago when the Boston Red Sox came back down 0-3 against the New York Yankees to win four straight in the American League Championship Series to advance to the World Series.

The Red Sox would go on to win the World Series over the St. Louis Cardinals and snap an 86-year championship drought.
