It’s a new day, and external expectations for the 2026 Texas A&M baseball team are nowhere near the level they were at this time last season. However, that doesn’t mean Coach Michael Earley is planning to take any chances, as this could be a make-or-break season for the second-year skipper.
While the program lost significant talent to the 2025 MLB Draft, it still has a strong core of players who will be highly competitive. Five athletes are featured in the D1Baseball Top 100 College Prospects, and several others have the potential to emerge as standout performers once the season gets underway. It won’t be a walk in the park by any means—with the SEC being the premier conference in college baseball, every series will be a battle.
On top of that, they’ll face a formidable non-conference slate as well. Some of the notable opponents include:
UCLA (College World Series – 2025)UTSA (Super Regional – 2025)Arizona State (Regional – 2025)
Below is their complete non-conference schedule.
