Oregon baseball coach Mark Wasikowski talks Ducks’ growth

Oregon baseball coach Mark Wasikowski talks about the Ducks’ growth over the season ahead of its final regular season series at Iowa.

The eyes of the Big Ten baseball world are all set on Charles Schwab Field as the 2025 Big Ten conference tournament commences.

Oregon enters the Big Ten baseball tournament in Omaha, Nebraska, as the No. 1 seed after winning a tiebreaker with co-regular season champion UCLA. The Bruins, Iowa and USC round out the top four seeds in the 12-team bracket.

The Big Ten had a bit of an underwhelming regular season, as only two of its programs hold a spot in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll and are slated to make the NCAA baseball tournament in the USA TODAY Network’s latest projections.

The format for this year’s Big Ten baseball tournament is a first-of-its-kind, as the first four days of the tournament will be strictly pool play among four groups that consist of three teams each. The winner of each pool will advance to the semifinals.

Action gets underway on Tuesday, May 20 with a triple-header of pool play. It will run through Sunday, with the champion of the conference tournament receiving an automatic bid to the NCAA baseball tournament.
