For the Chicago Cubs, that means there’s a lot to figure out.

The MLB season officially ended Saturday night when the Los Angeles Dodgers edged the Toronto Blue Jays to win Game 7 of the World Series.

That means that the offseason has arrived on Sunday. And in honor of that, MLB released a list of all the veterans that are becoming free agents.

The Cubs have 10 such players, one of the longest lists in the bunch.

Those 10 guys are:

There are a few interesting names there, particularly bullpen arms Keller, Pomeranz and Rogers.

But the big one, of course, is Tucker.

He’s going to be the highest-paid player in free agency this offseason. The only questions are how much and from which team?

Tucker may not have ended the 2025 season how he wanted, but it won’t reduce his value much. The larger sample size says he’s one of the best hitters and outfielders in baseball.

Tucker’s name will be in headlines the entire offseason. And his free agent journey starts this week.
