Thousands of people will be at the Hoover Met for the start of SEC Baseball Tournament , many of them are already there staying in RV’s. While the state of Alabama is expecting inclement weather during the tournament fans continue to support their favorite teams by attending the event. The first game of the tournament will start around 10 when Missouri will face Alabama. It’s expected to be a sell out crowd. John Andrews, says he’s attended the sec baseball tournament for 10 consecutive years now and he’s familiar with bad weather during the event.“A few years ago we actually were holding down the tens and it was like a mini little hurricane water was coming down the hills, if you had a boat you could of got in that boat and road down the hill but nothing bad , no tornadoes,” stated Andrews.Baseball fan Kelly Daigle says he remembers staying in the Hoover Met for hours just to watch a game. “Matter of fact we were here until 4 o clock in the morning playing with LSU a few years back because of inclement weather sitting in the stadium at 4 o clock in the morning,” stated Kelly Daigle. The City of Hoover encourages fans to seek shelter under concourse tunnels during the game if need be.
