Davis Schneider is prouder than ever to be a member of the Toronto Blue Jays.

Blue Jays players have been rather mum since dropping Game 7 of the World Series on Saturday evening, which was to be expected. After taking some time to gather his thoughts, however, Schneider took to Instagram to share just how much he loves being a part of the Blue Jays.

“I love this team,” Schneider wrote. “The people in this organization are some of the greatest humans I [have] ever known. I loved coming to the park every day and sharing this stupid kids game with all [the] people I get to call my best friends.

“Such [a] selfless group of ragtag dudes who love just playing baseball with each other at the highest level. Not the outcome we wanted or hoped for but man what a year. I love every single guy in that clubhouse. We went to work each day and gave it our all.”

Schneider, who had a huge moment in Game 5 of the World Series, also made sure to voice his appreciation for the fanbase across the entire nation.

“The fans, the city, the whole entire country made this year special, and I’m forever grateful to play for a fan base that embodies what a true fan base is all about. I’m so lucky to play for this city and for Canada. I’m proud to be a Blue Jay.”

The 2025 season marked Schneider’s third as a Blue Jay, as he was called up late in 2023 to make his MLB debut. While the Jays were able to make the playoffs that year, it wasn’t a lengthy run, as they were swept by the Minnesota Twins in the wild-card round.

As for this year’s run, it has increased excitement about the organization to an entirely new level. Despite it not ending the way everyone north of the border had hoped, there is now an even larger fanbase supporting the Blue Jays in 2026 and beyond.
