The Yankees’ 2026 spring training exhibition schedule is out.
While report dates for pitchers, catchers and position players haven’t been announced yet — plan for the second week of February — the team’s first game of the spring will take place in Sarasota, Florida against the Orioles on Feb. 20. The Yankees first home game of the spring will be played at George M. Steinbrenner Field the next day. The Mets will then visit Tampa on Feb. 22.

The Yankees’ spring training schedule features a few unique wrinkles, as the club is going to host Team Panama ahead of the World Baseball Classic on March 3. The WBC begins March 5.
The Yankees’ prospects will also play their 2026 Spring Breakout game against Atlanta’s farmhands at GMS on March 21.
Finally, the Yankees will play their last two spring training games in Mesa, Arizona against the Cubs on March 23 and 24. It will mark the Yankees’ first spring training games in Arizona since 1951, when they swapped spring training sites with the New York Giants. The Yankees held spring training in Phoenix that year, while the Giants held spring training in St. Petersburg, Florida.
The Bombers are wrapping up exhibition play in Arizona this year because they open the 2026 season on March 25 in San Francisco.
All in all, the Yankees have 33 spring training games scheduled, with 16 at home and 17 on the road.
