The Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins announced their 2026 Spring Training schedules on Wednesday, Nov. 5.

The Red Sox will open their 15th spring season at JetBlue Park at Fenway South on Friday, Feb. 20 against Northeastern University. The team will play its Grapefruit League opener on Saturday, Feb. 23 against the Minnesota Twins at Lee Health Sports Complex.

Ahead of the 2026 World Baseball Classic, the Red Sox will host Team Puerto Rico at JetBlue Park on Tuesday, March 3. Top Red Sox prospects will take on Baltimore Orioles prospects on Friday, March 20, in Sarasota. The Red Sox will host a Minor League exhibition game at JetBlue Park on Saturday, March 14. The “Futures at Fenway South” matchup will give fans the opportunity to interact with top prospects, receive autographs, and see Boston’s young talent in action.

Boston’s Grapefruit League schedule includes 28 traditional games with 11 matchups against AL East opponents. Boston will host New York on Wednesday, March 4, and face the Yankees in Tampa on Wednesday, March 18. Other divisional matchups include five games against the Tampa Bay Rays, two against the Toronto Blue Jays, and two against Baltimore. Non-divisional opponents include the Twins, Pittsburgh Pirates, Atlanta Braves, Philadelphia Phillies, and Detroit Tigers.

Boston will conclude its Grapefruit League schedule with a matchup against Pittsburgh on Sunday, March 22, in Bradenton. Before traveling to Cincinnati to open the 2026 regular season, the Red Sox will host Minnesota for an exhibition game at JetBlue Park on Monday, March 23, and face the Twins at Lee Health Sports Complex on Tuesday, March 24.

The Twins’ 2026 spring schedule, their first under new manager Derek Shelton, features 33 total games, including three home exhibitions and 30 Grapefruit League contests, 15 at home.

Minnesota’s home opener will be on Friday, Feb. 20 against the Univeristy of Minnesota Golden Gophers. The Twins will host the Red Sox for their Grapefruit League opener on Saturday, Feb. 21, the first of four meetings with Boston for the Fort Myers “Chairman’s Cup.”

The Twins will host Puerto Rico’s 2026 World Baseball Classic squad on Wednesday, March 4. Top prospects from the Twins’ farm system, currently ranked No. 2 in baseball according to MLB.com, will face the Philadelphia Phillies’ best on Thursday, March 19 for MLB’s Spring Breakout.

The 2025 American League champion Toronto Blue Jays will visit on Friday, March 20 with single home games against the Baltimore Orioles (Feb. 24), New York Yankees (Feb. 27), Philadelphia Phillies (March 8), Detroit Tigers (March 11) and Pittsburgh Pirates (March 16).

Game times and ticket sale details for the 2026 Spring Training season will be finalized and announced at a later date.
