NEW YORK – Interested in making a trip to Yankees spring training?
Now is a good time to start planning, with Wednesday’s release of the Yankees’ 33-game exhibition schedule, which also takes them beyond the Florida Grapefruit League.
A week after reporting to camp in Tampa, Fla., the Yankees will open their exhibition season on Feb. 20, against the Baltimore Orioles at Sarasota.
The Yankees’ first home exhibition game is Feb. 21, at Steinbrenner Field.
Scheduling highlights include home and away games against the Mets (Feb. 22, March 8) and the Boston Red Sox (March 4, March 18) and a March 3 game against Team Panama before the World Baseball Classic.
On March 21, the Yankees will host MLB’s Spring Breakout prospects game against the Atlanta Braves.
Before the Yankees’ standalone 2026 season opener at San Francisco against the Giants on March 25, they’ll play exhibition games March 23-24 at Mesa, Ariz., against the Chicago Cubs.
Those games will mark the Yankees’ first Arizona spring training games since 1951, when they switched spring training sites with the New York Giants, who played at the Yanks’ St. Petersburg, Fla., facility.
